We change the institutional framework, we build the social state

Along with the implementation of the agreement with the lenders, the negotiation and the conclusion of the second programme review, “the government meets its commitments to the society, implements its programme and meets fair social demands,” according to government sources.
“For the first time after years of memoranda, the government has managed to find the right balance between the fiscal adjustment and the need of the society to stand on its feet and see the light of the fair and sustainable development at the end of the tunnel,” they said adding that a series of draft laws are submitted to parliament to “change the institutional framework, meet the social needs, settle pending issues and build the social state.”
The main legislative initiatives are the following:
– Intellectual rights (Culture Ministry)
– Local administration provisions (Interior Ministry)
– Combating tax evasion (Finance Ministry)
– Thessaloniki means of transport (Transport Ministry)
– Higher education (Education Ministry)
– Primary health (Health Ministry)
