The event is a favorite for locals no matter what their denomination or background.
There are vendors, carnival games and rides, live music and traditional Greek dancing, and of course amazingly delicious Greek pastries and meals to choose from.
Obviously the Greek wine and food are the highlights here. You’ll get more of your fill of lamb, gyros, souvlaki, pastries and all the rest of those great dishes we can’t spell (though we do know gyro is best pronounced yee-ro, more or less rhymes with hero).
But there will also be tons of games and rides for the kids, Greek music, arts & crafts, flea market and one hell (er, heck) of an annual sweepstakes…
