Main opposition New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis called for “reasonable and targeted cuts in state spending” while talking to residents of Laconia on Wednesday, repeating a pledge to reduce taxes so that the economy and society can “breathe” once more.
“A reduction in taxes will have multiplying benefits for growth, investments and job positions,” Mitsotakis said, while also promising to end the “clientelist approach currently implemented by SYRIZA.”
ND’s leader on Wednesday paid visits to Monemvasia, Molaous and Skala, meeting with local residents and visiting local businesses and industries.
