Greek Investment Roadshow in the USA

The 6th Greek Investment Forum opens in New York, with the participation of Greek Economy Minister Dimitris Papadimitriou, organized by the Athens Exchange and the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.

 

The Athens Exchange and the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce are organizing the Greek Investment Road Show in the USA from June 18 to June 22, 2017. The Road Show to the United States with more than 30 listed and non-listed participating companies, entails a business mission to Washington DC (June 18 & 20) and the 6th Greek Investment Forum in New York (June 21 & 22, Peninsula New York Hotel).

This year, the Minister of Economy & Development, Dimitris Papadimitriou, and US Ambassador to Greece, Geoffrey Pyatt, will lead the delegation to the United States with Athens Exchange CEO, Socrates Lazaridis, and AmCham Greece President, Simos Anastasopoulos highlighting the strong interest of both governments in encouraging economic relations, enforcing business between Greece and the USA and strengthening the results of the multi-business delegation travelling to the U.S. for this purpose.

In Washington, the business mission members will have the opportunity to meet with representatives of the political and economic communities, entrepreneurs and investors, as well as representatives of institutions such as US Chamber of Commerce, Council on Competitiveness, etc. in order to present investment projects and the perspectives of the Greek economy.

In New York, the major structural changes and reforms that have taken place in Greece recently, financial data, as well as specific business projects that may be of interest to American investors and fund representatives, will be presented during the 6th Investment Forum in New York. Furthermore, B2B meetings will be held between representatives from Greek listed companies and US investing firms.

This Road Show is an initiative of Athens Exchange and American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, which have joined forces since 2012 in order to present and promote to the US our country’s investment and business opportunities and strengthen economic relations.
