On July 23, the annual International Festival was held at the Lakeside Theatre at Eisenhower park.
The festival opened with the Greek participation and more specifically with the American and Greek national
anthems sung by Matina Panagos, a member of the Academy of Hellenic Paideia Dance Troupe.
International Greek recording artist Christos Alexandrou took the stage right after, performing songs
from his latest album Ston Idio Dromo, as well as known traditional Greek songs. The dance group chose to
present traditional dances from various parts of Greece in traditional costumes.
For a whole hour and under a soft blanket of clouds the park became a little more Greek!
